Dragon of Sungei Buloh

Monitor Lizard

The dragon of Sungei Buloh. Seen in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore. He swam from the ocean and stepped on the land, then grabbed the dead skin with his teeth which you can see in front of him, tasted it and threw it away. I guess the peeled skin which was from a death animal attracted him from far away, probably he thought it could be a bait. Monitor lizards don’t have a good eye-sight though.
